Our partnership with LUSH Malaysia began in 2022, when 28 dedicated participants came together on Pulau Lang Tengah for a hands-on coral restoration campaign. Together, the team deployed 9 coral frames, rescuing and securing 450 broken coral fragments alongside 25 nursery-cultured corals — 475 corals in total.
In 2025, LUSH Malaysia returned to Lang Tengah to continue this commitment. Despite rough seas and challenging conditions, the LUSH team came out to support coral restoration, sponsoring the deployment of 19 additional Reef Stars and supporting the planting of 290 corals from 17 species, representing a range of growth forms and reef functions.
Across these two campaigns, LUSH Malaysia has now supported 28 Reef Stars and 765 corals, helping to create new habitat and rebuild a more diverse coral community.
What started as a single day of hands-on restoration has grown into a lasting partnership. We are grateful to LUSH Malaysia for continuing to turn corporate responsibility into tangible action for our oceans — and for showing that meaningful conservation takes commitment, even when conditions are not easy.
