In May 2026, TNB Malaysia, expanded its commitment to coral reef restoration with the deployment of 33 new coral frames, building on the 25 frames established in 2025.
Together, these 58 restoration frames now support 997 coral fragments — 475 corals planted in 2025 and a further 522 corals added in 2026. Across the two years, 19 coral species have been planted, contributing to greater diversity and resilience within the restored reef.
This growing partnership demonstrates the value of long-term corporate engagement in conservation. Rather than a one-off restoration activity, TNB Malaysia's continued support is helping us build and monitor a living restoration site over multiple years, creating lasting benefits for the reef and the communities that depend on healthy marine ecosystems.
